Mail lands in your inbox. Push is a notification on a phone you have turned them on for. They are separate on purpose.
Changes save as you tap and apply to this car. Urgent alerts arrive right away; everything else comes in one summary email at 8 AM, and nothing buzzes your phone between 9 PM and 8 AM unless it is urgent.
What we deliberately do not sendCharge complete, charging interrupted, doors or windows left open, left unlocked, low battery and sentry events. Your Tesla app already sends all of these, so RideRite staying quiet about them is the point, not a gap. Your car’s live lock, door, window and sentry state is on the status page whenever you want to look.
CancellingOne button, no phone call, no email to us. It takes you straight to your subscription, where Cancel subscription is on the page.
Cancel my subscriptionYou sign in with your email and a six digit code, no password. Cancelling stops all future charges right away, and the checks stop with it, usually within the hour. It cannot be undone from your side, so if you change your mind you subscribe again rather than reversing it. Your readings and history are kept, so coming back later picks up where you left off.
Nothing on that page? Then there is no live subscription on that email, so nothing is being charged. If your card says otherwise, mail Kevin@riderite.us and it gets sorted the same day.
Disconnecting is not cancellingRemoving RideRite in your Tesla app, under Security and Privacy, Third-Party Apps, revokes our access to the car that second, so the checks stop immediately. It does not touch your plan, so the billing carries on until you cancel above. Leaving for good? Cancel first, then disconnect.
What Watch readsBattery, range, mileage, tire pressures, charge state, lock and closure state, and the fault alerts your car stores. Nothing else, and never where the car is unless you switch location on above.
Your readings are yours. Export everything as CSV from the History section on the status page, any time, no request needed.
Stopping the checks nowTesla app, Security and Privacy, Third-Party Apps, remove RideRite. That revokes our access the same second, without going through us. It does not cancel a paid plan, see the Account tab.
